Canada's Dollar Tree Raises Prices To $1.25

After decades of a buck as tbe standard the company is raising its standard price of items to $1.25 citing that due to inflation many items are just impossible to sell for $1 profitably

 

The company also says that by increasing the restraint by 25% mamy items that had been pulled can now be brought back

Tbh I prefer those higher end dollar stores where most things are more like $2 to $4

 

U just have way better selection and much better quality

 

I bought this small hand broom and dust pan for work from a dollar store for $4. I use it daily and have had it for 9 months now. If it was from dollar tree that **** woulda broke by day 2

@Economywill know what I'm talking about, but in Canada we have Dollarama and it is f*cking amazing.  Dollar Trees are a good time too.  I bought a belt there once.

I mean Dollarama didnt change their name.

 

I think at first it may raise eyebrows but in time ppl wont think about it, it will just be a name...

 

Theres a lot of names out there that mean something if u really think about it but in general ppl dont think about it and so its just a name to people
