Ugh… poster reminded me what I didn’t like about the trailer. It doesn’t “look” good to me. Too colorful. Not like how the Matrix should look. :crossed:

That reminds me of how the bleached colors in No Time To Die were one of the things that ruined that movie 4 me

I expressed my concern and told them the poster look like Greatest Showman poster and I got no response, yet. :bradley:

Looks good! While I don't think the sequel films are better than the first one, I still enjoyed them. I'm excited to see where this next chapter takes us.

The way I see it, the Matrix (the actual simulated world, not the movie) is an artificial construct, so because of that, it can technically look anyway it wants to. I actually like how "different" and "colorful" this movie looks so far because you have an opportunity there to talk about how much more advanced technology has gotten since the late 90s and early 00s. Like, maybe the world looks different because it's a product of the machine's ability to learn to evolve and adapt.

It looks more like our real-world than the green-tinted world of the original movies, but I like that because it reduces the gap (aesthetically speaking) between what's "real" and what's not.

I understand what you mean. Something seems off in both trailer and poster. I'm worried.

As we know there is 50% of the original directors missing, so I'm praying it's as good as the others and that the storyline is right. If the story is good, then hopefully this is just a little different aesthetic that we can accept.

I also don't like that Morpheus is gone. I would like to know the reason he is not in. They probably have a script and plan for this, but this reason is gonna be highly critical for me. The movie is called "resurrections". Which I believe will have to do with Neo returning, but in the same form as original Neo. Then why is Morpheus young now... I feel like original actor didn't want to join the cast for some reason and we get a younger one instead. When you have Neo and Trinity on board but not Morpheus it makes me very skeptical. Also highly skeptical for the other director not joining in bc "moving on away from Sc-Fi" when Matrix is one of the most powerful movies ever. HOPEFULLY these things won't destroy the potential for this 4th movie. I'm crossing my fingers, but I'm ready to be disappointed in that case.

Matrix trilogy are maybe my favorite movies of all time.
