oh, I'm sad, I loved that house!

I wonder why, but I guess we'll never know. I will say it was so close to the street and it seemed like security would be difficult there, maybe a factor?

But she also did a reno in Malibu after the fires, maybe she just didn't feel the need to be in two places after all.

I guess she bought it mainly for when she was working on ASIB soundtrack and stuff, so maybe she didn't feel like she needed it anymore

Or maybe her and Michael want to buy something together?

That's a good point about her and Michael. I'm curious to know what their house looks like if they actually do start living together.

And also where they will live because he's based in San Francisco I think right?

I'm not sure. But I remember they were spotted a lot in Montecito where Michael allegedly had a house.

That's a good point! If they're going to spend some/all of their time in the Bay area her having two houses in the LA area is probably too much

I think there might be too many not so good memories that she doesn’t want to relive anymore. She lived there during her depression when making ASIB and Chromatica, her dog sitter lived there for a couple of months after the incident, and others we will never know, also it’s close to the street so he security is difficult

Damn! She can obviously afford it but I think she's trying to be less... bougie? Her comment in the Vogue BTS about one of the Schiaparelli looks makes me think we'll rarely get any flaunting of wealth from Gaga (excluding fashion)

That's what I was thinking too! I got the feeling she initially bought the house as a way to try and keep her inspired to create. But it was in that house that she cried endlessly, chain smoking, wanted to quit music, didn't want to be 'Lady Gaga', couldn't even look at her piano let alone write a song and was deeply depressed etc.  Also another thing is that she was living out of there during the start of the pandemic, and using it as her office, while trying to sort out stressful things like the Together At home concert. I feel like there's a lot of difficult memories there. I wouldn't wanna walk back in there if I'd gone through that stuff in that house!

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

This is actually something I’ve been noticing too… We’ve known that she is, for the most part, a liberal, but when it came to economics specifically, I’ve never seen or heard her be vocal against “Capitalist America” like she’s been doing lately. And let me tell you, it makes me SO happy. I hope she supports either Bernie or AOC in future elections 🙏🏻

I agree! She is still becoming more political, developing her stance and opinions and dedicating more energy towards change. The Global Citizen music event itself was so great, gathering donations solely from corporations than regular people!
