I mean it’s not necessary she’s talking about movie directors. She could also be talking about music video directors like a certain asshole we all know. Cough cough Joseph Kahn cough cough

Who's that? What did he do?

The quote is worse with more context, though:

"I’ve never had a better experience with a director, he loves artists, and some directors don’t. They love themselves.”

:what:

Okay scratch laying in a ditch, he's dead now lol.

He’s a popular music video director (Toxic, Blank Space etc) and was supposed to direct the original The Edge of Glory video but Gaga fired him because they didn’t get along well. And he hasn’t stopped dragging her ever since.

Yeah, it's possible, but some sites will work better on PC. But bear in mind this trick is only valid with sites that load the full content before blocking it. It won't work with Financial Times, for example.

'I've never had a better experience with a director'. The reaction on here to that quote .....oh dear .... she chose her words carefully. She did not say it was her best experience with a director.

With respect, it isn't rocket science.

:what:

She didn't say Ridley was the best nor imply that she has had a negative experience with anyone else. It's pretty brilliant to make that open-ended of statement because the first thing people are going to do is assume her and Bradley have bad blood and nothing fuels people to keep your name in their mouths more than a sandal. After the awards season for ASIB and Shallow they had every corner of the internet burning. I wouldn't be surprised if she made this statement somewhat on purpose.

If you’re on safari you can click the “reader view” and it’ll show the whole article. Not sure about other mobile browsers.

no offense to the artists, but i found all the videos he's directed very reductive, with lack of susbtance but aiming to grandilocuence and the quick impressive blockbuster essence, i see why gaga didn't get along well with him, that's the opossite of what she is about.
