So either 2012, I believe hipster disney princesses were popular then, or it should have been released somewhere in 2015, like you would expect a song like Venus to do well when Galaxy print was popular, right? or in 2017, wasn't the mermaid aesthetic popular in 2017? When Applause dropped with all this negativity by people and media, i said to myself "why all this war to this girl? It's so unfair!" and i felt the need to "protect and defend her" ! 8 years later I'm so so so proud of her , my idol ,my girl!!! I will fly on a challenger across the sky like a phoenix.. A toned down look with caramel hair a look we have NEVER seen on her. She seemed to transform herself completely and took her wild and crazy image to a whole new level. This album is a true adrenaline rush and an ambitious and wild and artistic pop album only Gaga could create. Get Applause & G.U.Y to 1B views! I remember being slightly underwhelmed when it initially came out, but over the years I grew to love it . And her SwineFest, especially her performance of Swine (the best track on the album, fight me ) will forever have a special place in my heart Ew, David!
