Travis Scott is stepping up to help the families of those who died at Astroworld Fest offering to pay funeral costs -- and extending even more help for those affected.

Sources close to Travis tell TMZ he'll be fully covering any and all funeral costs that might come about for the families of the 8 people who passed away at the concert this weekend. This is going to be coming from Travis' own pocket.

Travis is also going to be partnering with BetterHelp, a network of mental health professionals, to offer mental health services, for free, to anyone who attended Astroworld Fest who may need to talk through their trauma.

Because of the backlash and lawsuits not because he cares lol. He could have said this on Saturday, it's now Monday. And what about the medical bills for the countless people injured?

I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't even follow through with this.

I don't think it's fair to project what you think about it in this way without any proof of why or what actually happened. If nothing was said, you would be complaining. Now that something is happening, you're still complaining. Just stop and let it be. Then complain once the dust has settled if it doesn't meet the mark. Simple as that.

It’s not out of pocket. There are videos and amples of stories surfaced dating back to 2017 showing just a complete shitty person he is.

At the same time, always looking to the past to judge the present prohibits growth. You can't live in a progressive society that isn't problematic if you do not allow for mistakes to happen and for people to take accountability for it. Just my two cents. I've seen some of what you're referring to.

Good- this is expected.
He / his team should take full responsibility. They should also be sued tbh.
And let's hope the funerals are reimbursed quickly instead of waiting weeks or months for funds to flow through.

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

He should be covering the medical costs of the 300+ people who were injured as well.

As for his partnership with BetterHelp... YIKES :awkney:

Thank you, finally, a mature person that understands reality on this site.

Actually he made a video about it a while ago and promised to contact all the affected families , I wonder how so many people don't know about this or are willfully ignoring it.

While this is true, allowing a concert/festival to continue while people are being seriously injured or being killed isn’t a mistake. It’s inexcusable. When the first person was seriously injured things should have stopped to calm the crowd down.

Isn’t this the guy that had documentaries made about some festival a few years ago?
