I used to think she is the type to read up on philosophy and various world religions but the more I observe her the more I feel like she only briefly studies Catholicism and maybe a very basic bit of Buddhism etc...

What do you think? Has she spoken about her interest in studying world religions like Hinduism, Judaism, Sikhism, Confucius, Shintoism, Islam, Sancratism, Shamanism etc...

are you kidding? she has a lot of knowledge of Catholicism, she said she researched a lot to make the judas video and make her statement, additional to this, she also researched a lot of heretical forms of christianity and early christianity like Gnosticism, as in this type of religions and cults tend to see the figure of judas in a positive way.

In the born this way video she also explores a lot of Gnostic concepts like the eternal mother Sophia and how she gave birth to evil unintentional wanting to create good, the demiurge etc, the whole BTW video is pure Gnosticism.

Then i know for sure she also has at least some knowledge of paganism, occultism and witchcraft, The fame perfume was the birth of the homuncule alchemy in a lot of witch grimoires, cum+blood+incience+belladonna and the bottle is a black egg, that's exactly how the homuncule is conceived, the whole FAME artfilm explores all these concepts.

She was also obsessed with Greek gods during ARTPOP

I think she's interested in every belief system and their similarities and differences, but mainly prescribes to Catholicism because she was raised that way (and we all know that Catholic guilt never really leaves a person if they're raised in it :huntyga: )  She said in a recent video (I think it was this year) that she's Catholic but not in the typical sense or something. I don't remember exactly but she seemed to be saying she's spiritual and believes in a higher power but not necessarily 'god' as is written in the books

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
