nobody is buying the album, it's just those singles that keep the SEA high on the charts

That and the a lot of the songs from the album also get decent streams.

Rules have changed a lot, reaching 100k is a lot harder than before. And, nowadays the most important thing is to have longevity rather than a big debut.

Drake just had 613k first week, Olivia Rodrigo had like close to 300k first week and Billie had around that number as well. Ed's opening is low.

ABBA wont reach the top, sadly they are not THAT popular on the US + they seem to have better physical sales but not so good streaming numbers (at least on the UK)

ABBA are VERY famous in the US, don't always base your opinion off the charts. Yes, they only have one #1 single in the US but the Mamma Mia musical has been a smash on broadway and in theaters. They are very popular although that doesn't have to go with a #1 album since streaming is ruled by young people and no older act has a chance in getting that many streams.

The decline from Divide is bigger than I would have expected.

To be fair a massively successful album like Divide is hard to follow up sales-wise, also the music industry and the way people buy albums has changed quite a bit since 2017.

Why is Future Nostalgia STILL there? Who hasn't bought it yet? :air:

There’s like a million singles attached to that album. (Including songs like Prisoner and Un Dia) Of course it’s charting high :bear:

100k sales is shocking for Ed. He is extremely sales driven and does everything he can to reach the top of the charts. This decline is worse than Witness, ARTPOP and is a harbinger of the end of his imperial phase.
