Like many other people on here/everywhere else have been saying, this is definitely calculated to take focus off of her lawsuit.

People really forgetting the whole rest of the video. Yes the tan is dark but that alone wouldn't cause this level of backlash.

The reason people are rightly upset is because of on top of the dark tan as a white woman she played on Black American culture in every single part of the music video.

I'm sure Jesy just wanted to pay homage to the original but It's understandable that it might make some people uncomfortable.
