I know exactly how you feel. My maternal grandmother is suffering with this horrendous disease and its really not something I'd wish my worst enemy to experience. There are times I don't even want to visit her because of how upsetting it is to see her in this mental state. You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love. She mentions she has vision problems and when she went to the doctor she'd always avoid telling me what he told her, pretending that it's fine etc There's nothing worse I fear to be honest.
