It's a disgusting scam by someone I don't even want to remember the name of. Lazy rediculous. The artist could have at least signed their name on the front to own the nothing creative and nothing skill demonstrated.

Almost as bad as dressing a black man in a thrift store quilt to look like a homeless hobo at a formal black tie dress event.

So, funny story... Back when I was a teenager, I was at this summer program on the East Campus of Duke University. Apart from our program, the school was mostly closed. Some of the buildings had permanent bulletin boards in the halls -- all white, apart from leftover pockmarks, nicely framed, and empty for the season. I pretended they were pictures in an art gallery, wrote what I hoped were interesting titles on them, and "signed" them with the name of an artist I invented for the purpose, "Makisto Jettica". I gave him a backstory and everything, although that never left my head, so why start now. Anyway, since the "canvases" were blank, the art was meant to be in the titles.

But I never tried to make any money off it.
