I guess she wanted it to be a sad and emotional song, but if that's the case the lyrics shouldn't have been so ridiculous lol. The bouncy beats, elastic synths and pitched vocals of the remix sound like something synthetic being aggressively stretched and played with, which I think is perfect and gives the song a much more suitable and fun flavour.
