It’s the way this collab would actually be so fun though. I would love to see Gaga make a collab album with a different person on every track. People underestimate what a good collaborator she is. From Ariana to Tony to Bradley some of her best work happens when she has another creative mind inspiring her. Plus Lil Nas is the closest thing this generation has to Gaga. Iconic videos, pushing boundaries, advocating for the LGBT community, not afraid to dress avant- garde.

I could see it. He definitely collaborates with a lot of women, and I wouldn't be shocked if he did a future song with Gaga. Gag rarely does collabs, but I could see her doing one with him...especially as they have overlappping fan bases.

I wish Gaga stans would stop hating on Lil Nas X in his replies. There's (sadly) a huge amount of people with Gaga avis being nasty to him. 

He seems like a sweetheart (yeah, I know he's f*cked up in the past but so has Gaga). Even if one doesn't like him or his music, though, at least give him his flowers for being an openly Queer Black musician in an industry and genre that isn't necessarily that friendly to gay Black men. And being so nasty in his replies (like if one's going to be nasty, at least stay out of the replies) is just going to get Gaga dragged.

I agree that I like that Gaga is more selective with her collabs, but the corollary of that is when she DOES do collabs, they're almost always killer, and they make sense. A Gaga + Lil Nas X collab makes so much sense, especially because it's so clear that LNX is influenced by Gaga and is perhaps the most visibly LGBT artist since Gaga herself.

i remember people on this site similarly throwing a hissy fit when it was rumored Ariana was gonna be on ROM. they're always like this, i can't wrap my head around it

I mean, I personally don’t think it would be a bad thing if she collabs with him, but I mean it was a miracle she even made a song with BLACKPINK. And even that was just a label decision, does anyone here really believe BLACKPINK contacted Gaga to make a song with her or viceversa? No that did not happen. The remix album doesn’t count because she had little input in it, same with the reimagined BTW album. She’s not an artist who just easily collaborates with newer artists. Ariana doesn’t even count then because many are forgetting she was 7 years into her career when ROM happened.
