she offered 500k for her dogs' return.

The $500K "NO QUESTIONS ASKED" reward was a RUSE to lure in the suspects.

The dogs were returned AND 5 gang members were arrested and charged!

The LAPD made it clear they had nothing to do with the "No Questions Asked" reward. The cops did NOT make a "No Questions Asked" offer. There's no contract!

True to her word, Gaga didn't ask any questions... The cops did!! 🙂

Because he was shot and almost killed when the dogs of one of the most famous people in the world were stolen... and then without posting about his wellbeing, she offered 500k for her dogs' return. There hasn't been a big check in with him since then, but that story was huge.

If I was her, this guy would be in my will. His lineage would be set. He was her hired worker who literally almost died directly because of her fame.

You guys are insane for blaming him or holding this against him.

Why would she need to post about his wellbeing? He has his own social media and it's up to him to share any news with the world, unless he would have passed. As others have mentioned, they didn't know the dogs were Gaga's. He almost died because he went onto a major street with $15,000-$30,000 worth of animals at 9:30pm. He acknowledged the dogs were desirable in the interview and he's well-connected as a dog walker. So he probably knew about all the other French bulldog robberies in the area. I'm sorry it happened to him and people are cruel for 1 hurting somebody (especially unprovoked) and 2 doing so in order to get somebody's pets, but I think he's partially to blame.

I'm not saying this from a blind stan point of view, as I've called out Gaga's issues before and said she arguably could have done more....but this is ridiculous.

He admits she paid his living expenses for 3 months, gave him housing, got him a therapist, and paid his medical bills. It's not like he exclusively walks her dogs or works 24/7 for Gaga like Bobby, Tara, etc.....he has other clients. He also had a go fund me for 40k and I honestly wouldn't be shocked if Gaga had cut him an additional check (that he didn't mention). That's a lot of money ...so how he is broke and why does he, a dog walker, have an assistant?

Morally, Gaga did enough. I think he probably wanted the 500k that she offered as a reward, but it also seems like that money was less a reward and more an attempt to trap the criminals (like they do with actual kidnapping cases). After all, one of the robbers tried to pick up the reward. This isn't just a Gaga thing, but I'm kind of weirded out by this new go fund me culture where something awful happens so now that person somehow deserves to get a ton of money (beyond living expenses, medical bills, etc.).

That said, this is on Gaga's PR. They should have paid him off from the get go with a 250k check.

Anything like this should be in an NDA.

Mister G

He said they’re on good terms. Alright everyone can go about their business. There’s no bad blood and hopefully he continues to do well for himself.

I feel bad for what happened, but there's no other way to put it... This happened because Ryan needed a bottle of CHAMPAGNE, and he decided to walk 3 expensive French bulldogs, AROUND 10 PM, during a pandemic, for 7 BLOCKS along Sunset Blvd., to a LIQUOR STORE on Sunset and Fairfax.

So, rape victims are also to blame because they wear some type of clothing, they walk outside at 10PM...etc? Bad arguments.

Y'all should chill out a bit. Ryan hasn't said anything bad about Gaga, let's not drag him through the mud for his assistant insinuating that Gaga still owed him.

Blame the media and talk heads that are twisting his story into a "Lady Gaga is selfish" thing when she's been incredibly generous towards him.

Omg Ryan!? You have a GagaDaily account? Woah you shouldnt give the media and talk heads the opportunity to twist the situation of the person who has helped you. Maybe lay off of the grifter vibes too for a bit y'know?

Lmao they blocked my signature

I don't think it's quite the same. I'm pretty sure anybody who puts their pets in the care of someone else has some strict rules they expect them to adhere to. I imagine them not being walked at night is one of them. I mean, you wouldn't expect the babysitter of your children to take them out at night and if they did you'd fire them.

Not people saying he should move on :laughga: the man was *shot* and almost died, y’all.

not speaking to aaaany other part of the sitch here, but I just saying I think the trauma associated with being shot stays with you for a bit

I understand your point completely and it's not the same, but the arguments are victim-accusatory.

We can now pin point what Ryan did wrong but I don't think it's wrong to walk a dog during the night because this was something I was doing for a long time. True, where I lived there was no fear that someone would shot me during the walk, but there was also a chance that this happens.

We need to stop accusing a victim. The guy almost got killed, after he got shot he got this enormous attention from every side and now 50% of people are treating him like garbage and yet he didn't let go of Asia when he was lying on the floor with excruciating pain from the gun shots.

People need to get some perspective. The guy almost lost his life over a job.

I can't  believe how judgmental and lacking in compassion many of you are, especially after watching Ryan's interview in which not only does he not slander Gaga, he says nice things about her and details how she helped him. (And in fact, Gayle speculates he may have done the interview to clear her name.)

Yeah, he seems to be terrible with money, and I personally wouldn't donate to his GFM, but look what he's been through, look at the permanent, life-long injuries he's endured from protecting those dogs (such as missing 1/3 of his lung). He doesn't deserve the vitriol that some of you are spewing.

I don't agree with the people lacking empathy who think he should move on. What he went through was horrific but I do wonder if there's more to the story and there's a reason why Gaga hasn't given him a bigger pay out. But that's none of our business really and I feel like Ryan is trying to find a silver lining from this whole mess so he doesn't feel like a victim of some tragedy. I don't blame him for doing interviews because I don't see it as him trying to grab some pay cheque but as a way to turn it into a heroic act, and I think we should forgive him for that.

Sorcerer

The interview cleared up a lot of things. I knew Gaga would not just abandon him. Hoping for the best for his recovery.
