Juanlittlem 45,840
I dont think this is gonna get even Top 5, sorry to ruin everyone's hope but knowing Gaga's team they'll ship the CD a week later and it wont count for the debut. Same. That said, I definitely think it will be #1 or #2. CFB will have been out for like 3-4 weeks at that point and there's no way the vinyls from Fearless will be enough, imo, to overcome Love for Sale. Pure sales may be doing poorly in general, but Tony's fans a) still buy albums and b) an album only really needs around 35-40k to top the charts, nowadays, unless it's a competitive release week. I mean, Taylor will sell 30k albums for sure just in vinyls, and her fans will stream. Tony's follow up to CTC debuted with 6k copies, I hope since is his last album there's more people buying it but it's gonna be hard. Now pure sales are dead, I'm kinda worried. Do we think pure sales were really affected for Jazz? 17 hours ago, JaysAMess said: I hope so, it's what Tony deserves. Her last vinyl release moved 102,000 units, which is the biggest in U.S. history. The previous record was 40,000 for reference.
azul 2,099
I don't see it doing particularly well on the charts just because there is no Special Event on tv in the first week (perhaps 60 minutes?). TV is the main platform to promote a new album for TonyGa fans, I guess. I don't see them doing live talk-shows interviews because of Tony's condition. So I am not very optimistic about the sales. ANTI WP 19,825
She has no chance against Meek, Taylor and Drake So probably Top 5 Her dumb team should have released this album last winter or 2019

Once again calling her team names without having any sort of insight into the background happenings. We know that Chromatica was slated for 2019 and most resources were already allocated to that. And every winter Christmas music takes over again, killing off a large part of the season for charts.
HiddenWeirdo 4,277
What if we consider CTC as one of Gaga‘s regular #1 albums, but count LFS as a Tony Bennett album where Gaga is just featured? It's not that I've been dishonest It's just that I loathe reality.. indeed
ProdigyARTPOP 3,910
It’ll reach #1 on a low sales week, Gaga & Bobby will release the “limited edition” signed copies for sale during the release of one of the documentaries or live shows airing & that’s when it’ll probably get the chance to obtain it, I don’t expect a first week number one, but probably like in its 5th or 6th especially if they’ve delayed certain promo materials til early 2022, they’re eyeing to secure large sales with the holiday boost. Artist's death is always the best promo album could have. Harlequin stan 🃏

Fair point! But he's still getting tons of streams so if you add it to physical sales it will still be #1 I guess. 9songs of the top 10 on Billboard hot 100 are his songs, so even just with streams I feel like he'll be #1 still And I believe Evermore broke a record for most vinyl sales in a week, or was it folklore?
