BARKDANGER 855
The first time I heard a Gaga song was Just Dance. It was late 2008. I was driving with my girlfriend at the time (I’m happily Gay and married now), in a the car which was Dodge green Neon. I remember the road and time. It was around 7am, on a road called Chaneyville Rd, on my way to high school in Calvert County, Maryland. I asked my girlfriend to turn up the song, and I asked if she knew it. She was in musical theater so of course she knew it. She replied, Just Dance by Lady Gaga. I was never into music before that moment. When I got home I search Lady Gaga on the internet on dial up, and then discovered Poker Face. I had an IPod, so I downloaded the song and album which took like 30 minutes to download the album. I instantly became a Stan. The rest is history. What’s your moment? “I’m on the edge of glory…”

Gaga was featured. I fell in love with that performance and rewatched like 20 times. The blood stunt was a gag! “I’m on the edge of glory…”

Chromatica Island 8,517
In 2009 when I was like 13 and read the Rolling Stone article at my uncles house, I had heard Pokerface and Just Dance on the radio, but I didn't know she sang them. But yeah when I saw the pin bubbly Rolling Stone cover I became a fan, she got me through my teen years. Any/All Pronouns, Genderfluid🏳⚧
tylerjs 5,877
I remember being in my childhood bedroom, parents still married (lol), it was like 9:30pm or so and my middle school crush was texting me (this was before I was officially out and it was a very stressful but exciting thing to be texting him lol), and he told me I should listen to the new “Lady GaGa” album (The Fame). I opened my laptop, downloaded it on iTunes and texted him through the whole thing. It was actually a really lovely moment although my anxiety didn’t really let me enjoy it much at the time. But from then on I was hooked 🇨🇺🇧🇸 monica from rhoslc kinda had a point

badfaith 5,715
I met her in a M&G and she was kind, classy, and she gained a long-time Little Monster that day. I walked into her $350 M&G and said hello she replies with "skinny" and I shook it off because I thought maybe I had heard her wrong. As I approached her and asked to do my pose she stared at me blank faced. I continued talking "you saved my life" I say. "You're the reason I'm alive today". She looks me dead in the eye and says "you'll be kind soon enough skinny" and then whispered "kindness". I started crying I had never felt joy like this and she started laughing and said "are you crying? Stop it. You're that 1 person in room who does believe in me" and she flicked my nose. The photographer took the picture and I headed out of the M&G section and that's when Gaga started speaking Italian to me. I still can't believe it happened. I cried writing this. I wish this weren't true but Lady Gaga is in fact; a kind person. Now she's messaging me on Snapchat by sending selfie photos, with the Disney filter on. Thank you for reading thi
