A Message from BloodPop

Bloodpop is a troll sometimes, but I think that we're lucky to have someone so passionate about his work with Gaga. Not only that but also someone that cared so much about the person behind the pop star mask and helped her to love music again.

Thank you, Bloodpop! :kara:

I'm so grateful for this remix and the work BloodPop did to make it happen!

It's been a sh*tty few weeks for me and the mood and energy boost I'm getting from this album rn is making all the difference. Dance through the pain.

What do you mean? The Rina-sawa-yama-and... was used with pabllo-vi-ttar. I think it was a reference to that but at the same time changing it to what we have in the remix. If she wanted to do it she could. It's not like she was waiting for gaga to record new vocals.

It was a joke

Fame, I believe. I'm sure someone has made/is making a version with it :legend:

I just realized that makes Babylon and Fancy Pants sisters :bradley:

He's just a sweetheart. Never understood all this hate that was thrown towards him.

I thought about this thing, that MAYBE gaga told him to communicate to us and give us SOMETHING because she is just way to traumatized from the fans.

If you think that sounds crazy ? Watch the Zane Lowe chromatica interview.

Replay I think is about US. The FANS

I mean, this doesn't match up at all with things Gaga has said

An OFFICIAL REMIX is by definition a COLLAB. 🙂

Rina's producer got the stems from Gaga's producer, made changes - and created a new track. You hear Gaga's vocals, yes??

Rina had to sign a license agreement detailing the royalty split, etc. If that's not a collab I don't know what is.

Dawn of Chromatica is a remix album. It's NOT Chromatica 2. It's NOT LG7.

Why would you expect Gaga to exec produce a REMIX album?? Pushing paperwork? That's like a CEO doing a manager's job! 🙂

He truly has been the spokesperson for the Chromatica album rather than Gaga herself :huntyga:

Gaga said it better... a week ago. "In celebration of young artists all over the world."

girl what r u talking abt BloodPop is Chromatica

Gaga is the ARTIST, the vision - and the VOICE - behind Chromatica.

Chromatica is her her diary. Her journey through mental illness. She wrote 911, Replay, Fun Tonight, etc.

She said she wanted dance music because her vocals were sad and it sounded like "Joanne 2."

I bet some Monsters couldn't care less about her lyrics. Or her vocals. What DO they care about, I wonder?? 🙂

At least he didn’t say he would be soon deleting Queen Babylon of the Haus Laboratories :selena:

It really has made me love it more since I’ve first listened to it but regardless of that there’s so much more to appreciate with this album than the one Babylon song. I’m thankful to him for taking charge of the remix album and bringing it to us.

Gaga is the BOSS. BloodPop is the executive producer of DoC. He was hired because she wanted him for the job!

Some Monsters didn't get that and blamed the poor guy for... doing his JOB. 🙂

Think of Gaga as the CEO and BloodPop as the PROJECT MANAGER for Dawn of Chromatica. He did all the boring admin stuff. Gaga probably had several artists in mind, but there's room for more.

BloodPop did a public invite on Twitter. He wasn't trolling... PABLLO Vittar credited her fans for getting BloodPop's attention. They started talking, and she got to do the Fun Tonight remix!

He handled all the paperwork. Every remixer had to sign an agreement with the label. He kept the artists and their fans up to date, to the BEST of his knowledge at the time.

The remixers were given FREE REIN, or so it seems. That's Gaga's motto, isn't it?? Let the artists do their thing!

As for Babylon, maybe she didn't want to bother with the Bowie sample, or maybe she loves the Haus Labs remix. Why blame BloodPop??

It's entirely up to Gaga. She's the artist. She's the BOSS! 🙂

No. Not according to Gaga herself. 🙂 She was referring to the Monsters in her MIND.

"MIND MONSTER" is a metaphor for mental illness, e.g., Mind Monster mental health campaign. Someone with PTSD can be triggered by a deposition, a song, etc.

"I refused to not allow [REPLAY] to be on the album. Sure, I'm the 'boss'. But really Chromatica cannot exist without an abstract explanation of what it's like to be triggered if you have PTSD. It's a REPLAY OF ALL MY MONSTERS, NOT THE LITTLE ONES.

"And the very thing that has plagued my mind for years, trauma, is precisely the thing that now powers my life force to be braver. i.e. this voice I hear - continue to make music although your brain feels like it's breaking sometimes." - Gaga on Replay

Call me old fashioned, but I think music of any kind should structure SOMEWHERE. To call this bunch of amateurs “forward thinkers” and to call a bunch of sporadic tweets a “collaboration” is an insult.

I love Gaga, bought this on iTunes and I preordered the CD and vinyl because I’ll always support her and the collector in me needs every release, but NO.

Free Woman and Babylon aside, this album should be renamed to the Doom Of Chromatica.

Also, someone send him the worldwide statistics for COVID.
