Yes, the virus is evolving and we are seeing strains that are more resistant to our current vaccine. 

That's why everyone getting vaccinated right now is so imperative. If everyone would get vaccinated as quickly as possible, the virus spread would slow, and that would limit the opportunity Covid has to continue mutating. Our current vaccines would stay more protective in that case, and in the meantime, Pfizer and everyone else will continue making booster shots that will be more tailored to variants in the future, like with the flu shot.

Directly from the CDC: "Variants are expected. The best way to slow the emergence of new variants is to reduce the spread of infection by taking measures to protect yourself including getting a COVID-19 vaccine when available."

This is way too dramatic. They said it for a long time this virus will be here to stay, it will become like the flu, stop being scared all the time, the media already does it to all of us. Don't k yourself either, there's hope. This will end, we're not gonna live with masks until 2100 or something it's ridiculous. The plague as someone else said still exists, and many other viruses you don't even think about because everything is under control. The delta variant is already becoming a flop, Mu variant will be a flop too, honestly this virus will get tired of itself, all of us will be familiar to it and it's gonna calm down. When I say familiar, even ull know it by being ****ed up by it, damaging ur lungs, brain bcs u didnt get the vaccine, or bcs u got the vaccine so the body knows how to attack and handle it. You choose what u want tbh
