I do like the remix a lot, but I think the album version is more pure and simple which suits it. The remix gets a little too ā€œbigā€ and ā€œanthemicā€ and itā€™s a little overkill IMO given what the song is already saying.Ā

Demo version is my fav. Vocal production of Rinas remix is kinda off which is quite understandable considering it is a remix and remaster.

Dreams of you and me are in the dirt.

Definitely the remix. She played it safe with the album version.Ā Ā

this !! I think thisĀ often happens when Gaga's trying out new sounds, I feel as if some songs could be more experimental and risky, love them anyway though.Ā

That said I prefer the remixĀ :vegas:

Album version > rock bottom cause it sounds cheap
Rina's remix > it deserves all the praise, all the streams, all the glory cause it took the whole concept of the song and brought it to another goddamn level

and then the demo version > the one who should've never been kept in the vault, who already sounds heavenly even not being polished enough, one of the GAGAest songs ever, it's got soul, 90s eurohouse Black Box Cece Penniston Robin S freaking out passed out keyhole mdma vibes, and it's legendary
