Alladin Sane 505
Lady Gaga did it amazing with Dawn of Chromatica. Of course, she could get a lot of big names and put a record filled with A-list artists. But she decided to take a step back from this direction e just jump into the world of these new artists, with creative and powerful voices that deserve to be highlighted. And that creativity, that passion for music, and that desire for being on the vanguard? There's nothing more Gaga than that. What a spectacular album! She could have told Bloodpop to get super famous DJs like Zedd, Afrojack, Skrillex, Tiesto, Martin Garrix to remix them. Instead she said this is the time for the new and upcoming faces to shine and share some of the spotlight. Queen of establishing legacies. AGREED! It really just, whether intentionally or not, turned out to be a beautiful project... and reading about how meaningful Pabllo Vittar's and Arca's remixes are to them and to a lot of people is just special. It's like reverse cultural appropriation, if that makes sense. It's like Gaga giving them permission to take her songs and make them mean something to their culture, while at the same time shining a spotlight on them. Thank u for what u said, cuz Pabllo's music really means a lot to us brazillian, and even more for us from the northeast and north regions, cuz we always suffer from prejudice from the southeast and south region (where São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are). We are frequently neglected and our culture bashed, and to see a gay man, who was born really poor, in the poorest region of our country, not only become an icon in the whole Brazil, but also in the world now, is amazing. And what Gaga and BP did giving Pabllo this possibility means a lot more than just a spotlight for her, it also gave a spotllight for our region, our LGBTQIA+ community (in a country that has become even more LGBTQphobic in the last years due to the government), and a spotlight to Brazil as whole as well. Nosferatu 1,212
I like this way more than I thought I would tbh. Never cared for TFM/BTW's remix albums so I wasn't expecting much from this either but it has some surprisingly good songs. Fave by far: Replay Not feeling: ROM, Enigma, 1000 Doves and Babylon HL
Rubber Hunk 45
Beautiful remix album. I had high hopes and they were surpassed. Of course basics/ people who don't know these artists to begin with won't ''get'' this record, but it doesn't matter; this remix album is very significant and I'm so glad Gaga took the route of sharing the spotlight with some lesser-known artists that I adore. Although I will say that the remixes I was least excited for ending up being the most interesting (looking at you SL and SfA). Personally I was most excited for 911 and Free Woman but they haven't grown on me yet.

There was only one track there I wanted and it was the Scheisse Remix; everything else we had already for the most part, same with LG: The Remix.
