I’m not sure the need to bring up Taylor in a Kanye thread, but seeing as she IS the music industry, I am not surprised to see she is on your mind. But maybe thinking about Taylor takes up Kanye fan’s mental space so much so they ignore the fact that he’s collaborating and giving platforms to rapists, abusers, homophobes, and more! But he’s a genius… and that makes it okay. right?

Especially when queer people experience higher rates of sexual violence compared to their cis straight counterparts. Like how do you, in good conscience, support a man who supports rapists, groomers, abusers, and homophobes? And not only supports, but gives platforms to and boosts their profile. Seeing all the posts about TS here makes me think... 

Taylor actually caused this by herself and reminded ppl of her connection to Kanye. She still can't get over the feud (so did Kanye) and that tweet is highly unnecessary and petty...

This is doing all kinds of contortions to justify the point you're trying and failing to make. The fact that the album has more streams with more tracks should be enough for you to just say "ok good for him" and move on because that is way more impressive, especially in this day and age where people complain if albums are too long (which I recall happened to both folklore and Lover when they came out). The fact stands that rap community tends to gravitate towards those kinds of bodies of work whereas pop oriented fans tend to not.

Taylor can be your favorite (she's mine) and you can still recognize when someone who Taylor is personally not a fan of is successful. Although I'm not sure why the original person brought her into this in the first place... kind of a snarky comment and very unnecessary.
