Born2Gay 48 Posted August 29, 2021 Share Posted August 29, 2021 i don’t agree with anything lizzo said. but reading the comments 2 things that stood out were justin and madonna. i think justin’s a great singer and while i don’t follow his music closely at all, i think it’s weird how he gets so much hate online. i know he was problematic when he was younger, so maybe people still hang onto that? i wish madonna stans could love her without acting like she created the universe, or that anyone’s opinion on pop culture that doesn’t include glowing praise of her is a personal attack against them. while i like some of madonna’s music, i think she’s pretty overrated, especially by her outrageous loyal subjects, who often cite her as the most trailblazing trailblazer to ever trailblaze. she’s past her prime, and even in her prime she didn’t do anything that someone else wouldn’t eventually go on to do. people treat her like she literally wrote the bible on how to be an artist. interestingly, gaga fans talk about gaga the same way.
