Okay, and Ye JUST made this mistake. There's a chance he'll see the harm he's caused on the future and try to correct the situation.

Right now, you can't find a single article about Lil Nas X without a bunch of hip-hop fans discrediting him and hating us. And one of the biggest names in hiphop, rap, and music in general came forward to help a black queer man on his debut album. That's a big deal.
