She often releases in that quarter and if I recall it was like the only time frame in which there weren't other big releases (and she clearly loves to dominate the charts). I doubt she only tweeted to block Kanye; I think she honestly wants to support Halsey also. It might be petty, but y'all forget that despite Taylor's white feminism moments (which were pretty bad) Kanye put a NAKED statue of her in bed with him & the other clips made it pretty clear that Kim partially manipulated those recording. That was such a gross violation and frankly worse than what Taylor did to him. Furthermore, the media mostly drove the racist "Kanye made a white woman cry" narrative....Taylor didn't play into so much as she just treated Kanye like everyone else she feuded with. One can think Taylor did Kanye wrong but also that her actions did not justify Kanye's reactions AND that Taylor isn't to blame for the media running with an old racist trope.
