Yes, that is true. I just pity the ones who get seriously ill or die from it. I don't pity them while they're still "healthy" because they prolong this whole thing and potentially get other people sick and ill or killed.

Antivaxxers drive me mad tbh... it's insane how many of these people exist.

Desperately sad. It sounds like this guy isn't going to make it. He is 30 years old with three kids, so they'd be pretty young kids then. Freedom ? That's just some people talking.

I agree.

They are people.  People make mistakes.  People believe misinformation they were fed.

The best we can do is try to convince anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers of the truth.   They were influenced by the wrong people, and now they need to be influenced by the right people.   Hating them isn't going to solve the problem.   Also we can push for laws and restrictions requiring vaccinations and masks.

I live like a hundred miles from this town this isn’t just in San Angelo these rallies are all over west Texas in small towns and large cities, they don’t just spread anti mask stuff , they also spread conspiracy theories abt vaccines, politicians, the election and even celebs it’s truly insane that radicals like this are in this country

my view on masks from the beginning is they do more good than harm , and not wearing a mask is not exercising  political freedom but really disrespectful to yourself and others

It's very sad that our Republican politicians, as well as groups like Qanon, have continuously encouraged distrust in the government, in authority, in scienctific experts, in media, etc. and promoted so many conspiracy theories and misinformation to the point that people are literally dying from the brainwashing - and none of the people in power who have contributed to that (Trump, et al.) will ever be held accountable.

I wish the best for anyone that has contracted Covid. But can we just all wear a f**king mask for a few extra months and get the vax? I got the vax and don’t like wearing a mask but if it’s for the greater good, then I’ll continue to wear it. As soon as we all do that, we can enter a post Covid world and get back to normal. It’s not that hard. So we have to wear it in indoor areas, transportation, sometimes at work. Maximum of like 8 hours. If we do this we can live a normal life in 2022. 😷😙
