the movie was absolutely incredible in IMAX, if not in terms of script writing, just the sheer BUDGET and stylization alone.   It was beautifully shot and produced.  The songs all feel very powerful and bass heavy.   I wasn't a fan of the few tracks that were more punk rock/heavy guitars/scream vocals.  The tracks that shined to me where the ones more reserved production wise (while STILL very powerful sounding) where there was a more obvious Trent Reznor influence.

its a little bit different than i was expecting
but it's great
probably my fav this year
not many of y'all are going to like it tho
it's not as pop and bop as people here like songs to be

The beggining and the end of the album is amazing. The middle songs are the most forgettable and boring. Overall I was expecting a lot more, but it's a good album

That’s what I thought! The songs all feel like they were made for the film and not the other way around. I think I set myself up for disappointment because I was expecting songs like “Nightmare” when most of the album sounds like Manic 2.0 and very forgettable, interchangeable melodies. BUT the production is beyond and I’m sure many people will love it for what is it

Interesting, I really didn't like Manic at all, and the only song I find forgettable (and VERY Manic-like) is Darling, and overall I'd say this album is a 180 degrees turn from what Manic was... But it's always interesting how music gets to people differently. Hope you've found at least one pearl on this album for you!
