What’s a single album?

That’s a new one for me.

a solo album i guess??

btw this album needs to be produced by Teddy Park!!

edit:

from wikipedia:

In South Korea, a "single album" refers to a physical release (like CD, LP, or some other media) collecting one or more singles, while a "single" is only a song itself, typically as a downloaded file or streamable song. The Gaon Album Chart tracks sales of all "offline" albums released as physical media, meaning that single albums compete alongside full-length studio albums (and all other albums). The Gaon Digital Chart, which tracks downloads and streams, is regarded as the official "singles" chart.

EP with two songs

Oh, so like what JoJo did with three songs but called it a tringle. So this should be called a dingle. Lol

I agree she looks great, but I don’t get the hype calling it a single album. Just call it what it is; an EP. Lol

It's not about hype, K-pop just has different naming conventions for releases. Like what's known as a lead single in Western music is called a title track in K-pop, 'album' basically means it's something that will have a physical release.

Wow, didn’t know that. I figured it was just the same universally so there’s no confusion, clearly like what happen with me. And I follow music and the business religiously and I didn’t even know that. Lol
