Rejoice, little chartsters. But keep in mind she's on a different league. One where she simply just enjoys her craft and artistry. Had she cared for numbers, she would've probably:

· Left more creative decisions (lyrics, sound,...) to her producers and team, which would've lead to an earlier release (cut down from 4 years to 2 to quickly follow the success of Melodrama-mawma)
· Released CDs and a promo display of everything plastic fantastic
· Included a Nicki Menage feature on track 10: "Leader of a New Regime"

I always try to listen to her because I respect her artistry and I loved the concept. But it just seems there was something missing. But I will say visuals on point! No hate at all, I just will continue to experiment listening to her. She is SOO young in her career, I think she is polarizing and will continue to play around with sounds and textures, which is why I respect her as an artist, but just not feeling this album.

Good thing she doesn't really care about this. I wish people understood that disliking an album does not mean it's a bad album. Dislike it all you want, but saying it's a bad piece of work or the music sucks is a cheap hit to justify your opinion.

Lorde has never been a huge seller or even a big pop star? so makes sense to me lol wish it could do better/have future success. If Doja just got #1 then Lorde could in some weeks
