Philo 344 Posted August 20, 2021 Share Posted August 20, 2021 I just recently re-discovered this and phew Miss Ginger really snappedT here Why I think this is one of the best f@ggy bops out there: - campy La Isla Bonita-esque production - her questionable vocals - her being surrounded by all those half naked men on the beach and on the boat in the MV - the random Italian phrase in the chorus despite mostly speaking Spanglish throughout the song (that being the theme) - the shallow story of craving for men - the fuego Spanish spoken intro and bridge - on the single version, there are two B-sides to this and one is even called ‘G.A.Y.’ Queen of the Union Jack I’m obsessed Also it went #1 in the UK, taste Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
