I know this forum can be racist at times, but Camila and Normani are at two completely different levels of stardom right now, so I think the that imbalance has more to do with the hate/love ratio

This type of  thread gets weird, racist, mean, and delusional. It’s the VMA’s - meaning most of these performers should have impacted music VISUALLY speaking in the last year. Look at the performers (so far) who aren’t nominated- 
 

Camila - Don’t Go Yet - 24M views

Lorde - Solar Power - 20M views 

 

Normani - Wild Side - 34M views 

 

visually speaking, Normani has the bigger impact. If she can put a good performance together (especially with that dancing) then why not invite her?

I mean, I haven’t been into Normani, at all, since she started - even when she was in Fifth Harmony. I honestly couldn’t even name one of her solo songs. But nonetheless, I hope you get that gig, sis. I’ll let all the other people enjoy your performance for me.
