Why hasn’t Gaga talked about #FreeBritney yet?

I have been a fan of both Britney & Gaga since like forever and so many singers have talked about #FreeBritney except for Gaga. She was so vocal about Kesha, about rape, women’s rights, LGBT issues, BLM last year etc..

Britney has been a huge influence and inspiration for Gaga, Gaga has said it times and times again. Bobby is a close friend to Britney’s boyfriend Sam Asghari. Don’t tell me she’s reaching to her privately, I don’t believe that. Bobby is following Lou Taylor on Instagram and you all know how wicked that woman is. I wanna trust Gaga so badly, she has and is such a huge inspiration for me in my daily life but why hasn’t she spoken about Gaga??

She doesn’t necessarily has to talk about it on social media, I’m 100 percent sure she supports Britney

Why does this irrelevant question keep popping up?

Because it matters.

As a little monster just getting into Britney (actually got into her because of #FreeBritney) I feel like every celebrity should be talking about this.

Lmaooo a celebrity not talking about it PUBLICLY really doesn't matter.

Well, Gaga’s manager (Bobby) is one of Britney’s boyfriend’s clients, so I’m sure Gaga has said/done stuff behind the scenes.

One thing you have to keep in mind... Gaga was very outspoken about #FreeKesha on twitter, but those tweets ended up getting her deposed in the legal battle. During that deposition she was triggered so badly that she ultimately had a psychotic break and was hospitalized.

She is probably very wary about what she tweets these days, and especially if it involves a legal case. She has to protect her own mental health first.

I'm not sure why you're convinced she hasn't reached out privately though? Of course we can't know for sure, but there is no reason to think she hasn't.

for all we know, there could be stuff going on behind the scenes. gaga could even be doing things silently to help.

also, she doesnt need to speak on it if she doesnt want to.

I don’t understand the hold that wanting celebrities to post about stuff has on yall. Let’s say she does post about it. Then what? You’ll like retweet and comment “THIS!!” before going on about your day.

The situation is well-publicized so it’s not some obscure issue. There’s no doubt that she has reached out to her and offered her support and kindness. Gaga posting on Twitter about it is something so superficial and hollow which is probably the exact reason why she hasn’t publicly commented.

maybe she’s tired of hearing about free britney every single day like a lot of other people probably lowkey are. her acknowledgment won’t help in any way either.

Yeah, Sam clearly supports FreeBritney and Bobby is one of Gaga's best friend and very tight with Sam. It's hard to imagine she doesn't support the movement.

I feel like it probably just comes down to the fact that she's rarely on social media. She's posted a few things about politics and BLM, and the MLK Jr center speech, but 99% of her social media is sporadic career sh*t.

Edited:

Also, social media can be a difficult—especially for someone with mental health problems like Gaga. Not to mention every mistake gets dragged up even if someone is posting something positive.
