Anyone can do drag part 2.

It’s always the Internet gays whose entire drag knowledge comes from Drag Race who feel like they can say what is or isn’t drag and then belittle any queen who’s not a cis gay man in supermodel drag

And what are your credentials? :partysick:

I was going out in NYC with club kids and drag queens in my late teens and early 20s before drag race was even on the air. :partysick:

Makes your narrow minded view on drag even more tragic, sigh

You need to calm down no one is gatekeeping anything or belittling anyone I just said I'm on the fence because I'm not usually comfortable with straight people in queer spaces which is a completely valid thing to feel, and turns out she isn't even straight in the first place. So much hostility for no reason

Lmao I wasn’t calling you out specifically, it was a “I can see it now...” type thing, sorry for the confusion; that said, I think when it comes to queer art forms, queerness takes on many forms and it’s hard and not really our place for us to say whether or not someone is queer enough to participate in the art. That kind of opinion-having can nosedive so fast, ya know? That’s my two cents. I imagine if they’ve made it this far in the profession, they’re probably not some rando exploiting the queer community and actually contribute a lot. Though I haven’t really dug into that, I feel like that can just kind of be assumed to a degree?

Yeah for sure, wlel I'm never one to say this person or that person shouldn't be included, I just back away when I don't feel comfortable. I can like or dislike their participation, it doesn't mean they should leave since others want them there.

Scaredy Kat is bi but she did have a girlfriend.

Also Disasterina from Dragula S2 is straight and married to a woman

I'd like to add that Alexis 3XL, a bisexual woman, was the second winner from La Mas Draga, a popular mexican drag competition.

The way she said dawnah summah. I live

hopefully this means there’s gonna be more diversity in the casts! I mean when crystal came out showing hair, that was huge and I was so here for that. Netherlands had a bearded queen finally, and now this literal icon is gracing our screen.

im really hoping!
