I started watching them when I was only 6 years old my Mom recently found a picture that I drew of both Xena & Hercules... it's really funny. My childhood hero was Xena - I preferred the show over Hercules, but I really loved both! When I was 19 I rediscovered the shows again and bought all seasons on DVD I know that it's really badly done here and there and also kinda cheesy, but damn how I loved it. It's just pure nostalgia and at the time, it was really well done for only a tv show. I loved all the monsters and the greek myths and legends... and did you know that Xena aka Lucy Lawless, at the time, was actually a gay icon? My favorite seasons r probably season 1-4 of Xena (also love 6) and the first 3 of Hercules + the movies! Xena also has some very great quotes in it too... like: "You are what you do. You can recreate yourself every second of your life." (This is my personal favorite and it really underlines what Gaga stands for with Born This Way) "It's easier to believe in yourself after someone else has believed in you first." "Any fool can risk his life. It takes a hero to risk his heart." "Once, a long, long time ago, all people had four legs and two heads. And then, the Gods threw down thunderbolts, and split everyone into two. Each half then had two legs, and one head. But the separation left both sides with a desperate yearning to be reunited, because they shared the same soul. And ever since then, all people spend their lives searching for the other half of their soul." So any Xena/Herc fans on here? Who watched it too? What's your favorite seasons?
