FX Orders ‘American Love Story’ and ‘American Sports Story’ Anthologies

To add to the American Horror Story and American Crime Story collection!

“Ryan Murphy is expanding his television footprint once again, with another installment of the “American Crime Story” franchise (tentatively titled “Studio 54: American Crime Story”) in development at FX, as well as two new limited anthology series, “American Love Story” and “American Sport Story.”

The first installment of “American Love Story” will tell a scripted tale about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, while the first installment of “American Sports Story” will focus on former NFL player and convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez.”

So now we have AHS, ACS, ALS and ASS….

so basically both spinoffs of acs. because both of those two examples could fit quite easily into an acs season. i'm not sure if they warrant their own individual series' or if they could be compiled into a special episode or miniseries of acs.

im ok with american love story but it's boring, im not into romantic stuff so ig he'll pick very tragic couples. I just am shocked at how he loves certain pop cultures things that I enjoy as well. He just understands the vibe, what would i be watching without ryan murphy???? nobody is doing this, it's like a dream come true for me. I love jfk jr and carolyn, i love the impeachment story right now ive read books about it years ago, I love the versace story as well, it's like he explores themes and stories no one else does, cus no one else sees how interesting and fascinating these people were. thank god for him
