I feel like THAT was the original concept. Not the washed 90s house mix we got (which, again, is not bad, the album has some of her best songs) but I feel like it could be so much better! PG. I agree that this remix album is gonna sound like what most of us probably imagined the initial record would be. Imagine the original Chromatica featuring production by Arca, or a featuring with Grimes?  I mean, no shade toward Chromatica's original producers, but damn. I wonder if the remix album was planned all along. I mean, based on the Haus Labs ads, it feels like it was supposed to be heavily inspired by those industrial beats. Perhaps, they decided to release a more mainstream sound for the GP, and a more experimental one later on (sort of like Act I & II of ARTPOP) PG.
