Biden's 'get vaccinted' campaign is failing to break through :saladga: This is something he really needs to put more effort into. The people who are hesitant aren't going to listen because Olivia Rodrigo says so

“Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky represent 41% of the nation’s new hospitalizations, the CDC says, twice their overall share of the population.“

Of course it would be The South…

I hate how everybody rushed the pandemic to end.

My job at school isn’t making anyone wear masks. :smh:  But my job at Target is making every employee wear one. :toofunny:

I’ve been a remote employee at my company for 4 years, but I know they were coordinating having non-remote employees go back to the office starting this month. It got pushed back to October pending it gets better.

Just because the South is racist and anti-vaxxer doesn't mean it is anti-vaxxer

Former First Lady of the United States. Now card-carrying member of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

To think what the numbers were two months ago compared to now... We have the resources to make a global difference with vaccines and yet our privilege is being ignored by people who won't listen to science.

I hope Disney and Walmart putting vaccine mandates on their employees sets a standard (with exceptions for those who genuinely cannot be vaccinated); our company is no longer allowing access to the office without proof of vaccination. Masks are being mandated again. We should have never stopped, it's the only way to truly protect people in the event someone's lying about being fully vaccinated.

I needed a whole list of immunizations before entering grade school, veterans have been jabbed with multiple vaccines without any explanation of what they're for... this isn't a new concept. This is so much more than the flu and I wish we would get on board with vaccine passports since it's clear state-by-state legislature is getting us nowhere.

this isn't good don't get me wrong

BUT

now that the vaccination programme is in place, we need to focus LESS on Cases and MORE on the numbers of hospitalisations/deaths

I think we still focus on cases because it can help us anticipate the number of hospitalizations/deaths since there's a lag.
