Again, this reminds me, why is wearing a mask as a vaccinated person still so stigmatized? I will continue to mask up in public spaces like the grocery store to protect myself and others. Even vaccinated, I still don’t want to risk catching it — and as much as I’m pissed at the unvaccinated, I’d still rather protect my fellow humans, including at risk and compromised folks.

It is to a large extent though. The fact that you can still spread it although you’re fully vaccinated is honestly not news and has been known this whole time. However, being fully vaccinated significantly lowers the Risk of getting infected. Yes, there are breakthrough cases, but when you get it you are most likely asymptomatic or only have mild symptoms like when you have the regular cold and it’s highly unlikely that you will die from it. So if everybody was vaccinated - even though you can still spread it - most people would not be infected at all, they wouldn’t even notice or  they would have a cold for a few days.
