???

Why would you deny (in a rude and catty way) someone telling that you collabed organically as an artist and expose yourself as a money chaser?

The song was a smash and it’s subjectively a good pop song, I don’t get why she felt the need to say something like this. All in all, I enjoy her music trajectory a lot but she has such a questionable and unlikeable personality.

Rat Boy

Jessie J is so proud of that song whilst Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj are trying to distance themselves from it. :rip:

Gives me very Beyonce pretending she stumbled onto the Edge of Seventeen sample for Bootylicious on a plane and insisting she just had to use it in a song. When in reality the track already had the sample and she just wrote the lyrics.

.

Except Nicki has never denied being a money chaser. She just said it like it is, the label sent her the song and she agreed to be on, a much more realistic depiction of events. Don’t see anything wrong with that.

Poor Jessie. I don't think Nicki understood what she meant, like, all she said was she didn't exactly contact Nicki to be on the song, maybe it was her label or something. Anyways, Nicki sounded rude and bitter. Sad.

jacs vs looser

To me it sounds like the label did get Nicki on it and then probably the version of the story Jessy J heard was that Nicki had somehow heard it and wanted to be on it. I mean, all of this often happens through representatives, lables and so on, and there's so many people involved that a case of "broken telephone" is bound to happen eventually.

It's no big deal.

So she jumps on any song for a check without hearing it.

I don't understand why she thinks that's a better version than Jessie J's version of how she got on board.

I kind of get why she said this because I think Nicki wants to be treated like a queen all the time and Jessie sort of made it sound like Nicki was asking to be on the song instead of being asked like a queen to be on the song but at the same time it's not like Jessie was being rude to deserve this type of response lol. Nicki is just so defensive and weird sometimes. But at the same time she is being honest so we can't fault her.

It may have come off as a little rude, but she didn’t do anything wrong... She’s literally just correcting the story.

PussOfYonce

she came off a bit energetic tbh but what she's basically saying is the label asked her to be on the song she liked it and got paid to be on it 2
