We spent a year masked, distanced, basically bathing in hand sanitizer. And as the world opened because of people accepting the vaccine and restrictions lifting, we started to resume some normalcy. Here in NYC, no one on the streets wear masks, and even inside restaurants/shops, employees and patrons rarely mask. At this point, it's going to be very confusing and unfair to revert back to mask mandates and restrictions when we're in this mess because of conservatives relying on Fox News who refuse to get vaxxed. If you haven't gotten it by now in the US, it's your choice, and it's unfair to punish the rest of the population for your distrust of science. Covid is going to exist forever, just like the flu, and we need to accept that and do our part to stop the spread and protect ourselves and others.
