I liked the outfit, loved the vocals and laughed at the dancing lol

It was a great performance, one of my favorites - especially because The Stones are my favorite band :)

I just wish she wasn't restricted to the backing vocals... She coud've impressed everyone even more if she sang through the verses with Mick!

I don't think she was restricted to backing vocals. Didn't she sing the second verse? And she sang lead on like every chorus lol

She was phenomenal. I, too, hope we someday get a legit rock album from her. It seems so clear that's where her heart is. And it's definitely where her skillset shines most, I think. Truth be told, she's not a great dancer (however, I respect immensely her effort because she ALWAYS gives 110%). But her raw onstage charisma is unmatched. I'd loved to see her give up the choreographed dancing more often in favor of stuff like this. And she's got a voice for rock, too.

She really knocked it out of the park here.

I think this goes under-appreciated. That charisma is the "IT" factor that allows Gaga to control a stage. As has been argued to the point of exhaustion in other threads, you can always find singers with better technical specs than Gaga. But Gaga owns her stage and her performances, and draws people into her. That capability is in fact what separates the top entertainers from the other levels.

Oh Bryan, she was so INCREDIBLE. I´m so proud of her. I loved her vocals and her moves/dancing. Really fit perfectly with the song. :flutter: :flutter: :flutter:

This performance will be remembered forever. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=FZzXH2DJZjI

Added at the OP. That performance would indeed be one milestone of her in her career.

Musical worlds collided over the weekend when edgy pop-queen Lady Gaga took to the stage alongside rock legends The Rolling Stones.

As part of the Stones' 50th Anniversary Concert in New Jersey, the audience was stunned when Lady Gaga suddenly appeared on stage alongside Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

Gaga, who was sporting a s-xy skin-tight body suit and a long blonde wig, was a ball of energy from the moment she appeared. She and Mick broke into an incredible version of the classic Stones' hit 'Gimme Shelter'. Check out a clip above.

At twice her age, Mick Jagger still knows how to rock. But it was Gaga who was the biggest surprise. It's been a quiet year for Gaga, but she's lost none of her punch. She worked the stage and, at times, even Mick Jagger looked as dazzled as the crowd!

Getting that positive recognition. And the praises from the critics just keep pouring. Congrats Gaga! :legend:
