Americano 31,061
The blackout could still be going on. She's not going to say no if a legendary band gives her a date to perform.
eMILY 1,123
Aw yay!! Will this be aired on UK tv?
NewYorkCity 10,536
Right. From this post on. No-one on GGD mentions Gaga performing any of the BTW Singles or anything from ARTPOP at the Rolling Stones' 50th Anniversary Concert. Ok? Read it again. THE ROLLING STONES 50TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT. Read it again if you have to. I cannot fathom the actual stupidity of those who think it's a chance for her to do promo for her songs. It makes me question my sanity tbh. She'll be singing Stones' songs onstage with the Stones themselves. Legendary. THANKS. Some people here are just... :toofloppy: :blehga:
Controversy 0
Aw yay!! Will this be aired on UK tv? you can find all information here; http://www.rollingstones.com/watch/ you need to pay for it in most countries. Once again, what I said earlier in this topic. been to The Rolling Stones myself(november 29) and Florence Welch from Florence and The Machine was there and did Gimme Shelter with the Stones. so I expect that Gaga will do that song with the Stones, it fits very well with her voice too. if you are hoping for a Gaga song you will be disappointed. Expect a great performance with Gaga and Mick Jagger singing Gimme Shelter... hope she'll do it just as great as Florence, but i'm sure she will. J e s s e 458
What would she perform?! And those guys can still perform? :blehga: "They have as much in common as dinosaurs and goldfish: the cracker kind!" - Penelope Garcia
Americano 31,061
For people asking, it'll be available in most counties but is a pay-per-view program. If you're not familiar with that, it's basically like renting a movie but you do it from your own television. You need to pay a fee to tune in. It's done that way because the fans at the show itself paid hundreds to attend, it wouldn't be fair to let millions of people watch it for free at the same time. What would she perform?! And those guys can still perform? One of their songs, because they're pop and rock n' roll legends that she's probably looked up to for her entire life. Guest
What Stones' songs would you like Gaga to do with them? Any favourites? Just for the shade of it I'd love her to join them in "Not Fade Away" Other songs I'd love to see: (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction Sympathy for the Devil (The Devil of Pop to be honest ) Angie Beast of Burden Start Me Up

Pure Adrenaline 1,518
Ok, Madonna will be FURIOUS! And I completely love it. Gaga to Madonna (sits for a week before answering): I don't have time. Gaga to Mick (after half a second): DUH! OF COURSE. what...tell me about it? It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely
Deacon 5
The Rolling Stones are incredible - one of the most legendary acts in history. The fact that Mick invited Gaga to perform with them (especially for a pay-per-view event) really shows her credibility as an artist. I cannot wait to see what they perform with her. MJ Holland 4
I can see on facebook the meltdowns on Rolling Stones' fanbase Seriously those people are so full of prejudices... In about 10 years, we'll be having meltdowns too I mean, the band whom you love and respect with such influence teaming up with a younger female act ?! It never sounds promising, but I'm aure they'll enjoy her amazing voice and passion  Edited December 10, 2012 by MJ Holland
codymonster 8,595
Wow, this thread really brings out the ****ing assholes of the site. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, there is no need to be rude to people and act like you can see into the future I definitely didn't think she would sing one of her songs, but now I REALLY hope she sneaks one in, just so some of you can eat your rude words. Ps. So proud of Gaga. This really is an honor :legend: Edited December 10, 2012 by codymonster
