PartySick 159,932 Posted July 17, 2021 Share Posted July 17, 2021 I don't listen to much rap but when I do, it's the golden era of 1980s-1990s rap Too $hort, Notorious B.I.G, Tupac, Eazy-E, Geto Boys, Dr. Dre, Missy Elliott, Slick Rick, Puff Daddy, etc. I can't listen to modern rap for the same reason I can't listen to modern country (but I love classic country) other genres have bled into it and there's hardly anything interesting or substantial made these days. Kendrick Lamar is the only dude I can think of that's making something with a decent bite to it tbh.
