She achieved massive success on her singles and this is supposed to be her break, and she might actually have more to offer with her album too. Will be a shame if she just tanks for no reason. She didn’t have the promo team behind to keep up the momentum, and she knew that people only knew the song but not her. Having a hit is great when that’s your goal/plan, because it usually means you can follow up to drag people in and know You. But in her case it was just the song/dance/meme, without knowing the artist behind. It must be frustrating as an artist to have your success be out of your hands. Especially if you don’t do it for the coins (which I’m sure she got plenty of now). That’s when you become a one-hit-wonder. It’s just sad that because of TikTok, the artist’s name is easily forgotten or set aside. We all know t.A.T.u, Rick Astley, La Roux, or a-Ha. But we don’t know many of the artists behind Tik Tok songs (especially if the song gets popular there first) The album/tour looks like it was polished with all the $100 bills she got, but will the people show up..
