TaylorSwift 162,398 Posted July 14, 2021 Share Posted July 14, 2021 A US gun company, Culper Precision, has triggered controversy by producing a real Glock pistol that looks like a children's Lego toy gun, at a time when hundreds of kids are falling victim to shootings. The colourful brick design gives the semi-automatic weapon a strong resemblance to a Lego toy. Culper Precision said its customised Glock weapon, named Block19, was developed to "highlight the pure enjoyment of the shooting sports" and is sold for between US$549 and US$765. Culper Precision wrote on Instagram : "Here's one of those childhood dreams come to life," https://www.instagram.com/p/CQgpPqor1v6/ "Guns are fun. Shooting is fun. 30 rounds full auto is fun," the company said on its website (the post has been deleted later). Danish toymaker Lego has written to the company demanding that it stop producing the weapon, which is covered in what looks like Lego bricks.
