Domestic violence is on the rise across United Kingdom and the cases go up significantly when the England national football team is in action.
Football is a semi-religion for many in the UK, which houses one of the best private football leagues in the world in the form of the English Premier League.

As per the data shared by UK's National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV), statistics highlight a sickening problem in society.
Instances of domestic violence in the UK go up by a 26% when the England national football team play and 38% when England loses a football game. 
With England taking part in the Euro 2020, cases of domestic violence were once again on the rise across the country.
