I have never seen the original which I feel like is some sort of gay hate crime but I am still looking forward to this reboot(?)/continuation.

This cast is too white. Like honestly. This isn't what should be on TV any more. 

It was iconic for it's time. But it's also a product of it's time. 

How is anyone who was mad at Lin Manuel Miranda for In The Heights supposed to take this seriously?

Did you want them to change their race/ethnicity? 🧐 They are still the same characters played by the same actresses. White people don’t become less white because society becomes more woke. Are the original leads supposed to kill themselves because they’re white?

I have no doubt the rest of the cast will be diverse.

It's should have stayed off the air or rebooted with someone like Yara Shahidi as Carrie. 

The show with this all white cast is not needed on TV.

There was an interview with someone involved with the making of the show mentioned that there’s going to be more POC characters that are taking Samantha’s place. 
 

Update: Three more women of color were added to the cast.

Or even Jennifer Coolidge. I know that there’s always going to be one Samantha Jones, but it would have been iconic. 
 

OT: As someone who used to watch Sex and the City as a second grader I’m excited to see how this is going to end up, especially since the show is going to take place during COVID times.
