It's clear Gaga barely spends any time on social media, or the Internet in general. The only stuff she'll maybe see from fans is the comments directly under her posts - and if you look It's like 50% bots and 49% fans calling her beautiful and amazing. Her in person interactions with fans consists of either them cheering for her, calling her beautiful or asking for a picture/signature. When have you ever heard anyone criticise her to her face? I really really doubt fans "bully" her into stopping doing things. The only way fans influence her is with their money. In fact I think if anything the reason she might've stopped being so into pop music is because she knows fans will eat it up and worship her no matter how good or bad it is - there's no challenge for her anymore. Moving into acting and jazz she faces more serious critics who will judge her for her performances and not just cheer for her unconditionally. She hasn’t logged in since ARTPOP. Who you fooling? And she’s best friends with Sarah, who has had her fair share of fans being shitty and then when she defends herself it’s “wow how dare she, so unprofessional!” Gaga hears what fans jeer at her at the enigma shows too. She keeps her interactions very minimal for the sake of her mental well being and i do not blame her. the celebrities who stay off the internet are the happiest.
