Raffaella Maria Roberta Pelloni (born 18 June 1943 - died 5 July 2021), better known as Raffaella Carrà (Italian: [raffaˈɛlla karˈra]), was an Italian singer, dancer, television presenter, and actress. She is a popular figure in Europe and Latin America, both as a result of her many well-known taped presentations and records, and because of her many popular TV shows. Carrà is widely regarded as a gay icon.

 I cannot stop crying. I can't believe it. She's an icon, she'll forever live in my/our heart/s.

Goodbye my goddess, my love, thank you for everything you've done for our community. If I am the man that I am today it's thanks to you too.

To me, the greatest Italian gay icon. Last week at Milan Pride the whole square kept shouting “mettete la Carrà” “put on Carrà!”. When Tanti Auguri played, so many people started shaking their butts I was surprised there wasn’t an earthquake. We love you, Raffaella

I wasn't being disrespectful.  I'm sorry she passed.  That's who I thought of when I read the title.

She has literally been for Italy what Madonna has been for the Anglo-Americans. The queen of the Queens. The most iconic icon. The cultural resetter and revolutionary ambassador sexual freedom of women and gay men in a period with no rights

Everything could be everything (it could mean anything)
