Did Gaga give back her engagement rings?

You can tell from this one pic we have post breakup at Sonia’s wedding reception, about 2 years after they called it quits, that she still loves him. Her body language is so demure and melancholy as if she missed the old times of them being together.

And then of course last year, over 5 years after they broke up, she gave us a whole monologue about how much she loved Taylor right in front of Michael, “I loved him so much, it just did not work out” 

 

Um, nó. 😂😂. You heard her, she was done dealing with his sh*t. She was calling Michael the love of her life within a few months. You're romanticising their relationship and so did she for a long time. She thought they were 2 weird gypsies and that they suited each other. She wanted to be married bc that's the background she comes from. Even though Natali isn't married (AFAIK) she's been with her bf since college so in that regard she's the odd one out in her family. Taylor was able to play the devoted bf for periods of time but once he was back in Chicago he was back to living like a frat boy. Whenever he was asked about an upcoming wedding he always looked uncomfortable. I think he did love her (and apparently cannot get over her 🐒) but he's just not a settling down type and Gaga finally realised it. Gaga matured, Taylor didn't. 

 

And imo saying that in front of Michael showed that she actually is over him bc you're not gonna talk about your ex if you or your bf are gonna be insecure about it. We all know Gaga, I'm sure she's talked about all her relationships a LOT with him. I'm sure sure she will always care about Taylor and all... Or most... Of her exes but once she's done she's done.

Lady Gaga has done a lot of things to show that she loves and honors tradition, and she's mature person.  

A heart ring falls in the category of "trying too hard".  Add in the "put MORE diamonds on it!"  and then "make it say T *heart* G on the bottom" and oh.  Just oh.  It's too obvious and unnecessarily symbolic.

When Gaga wants to make a statement, she knows how.  

Engagement rings should be timeless and classic.  They should go with everything, and they should never go out of style.

It came from a good and sweet place, but he should have taken an experienced classy woman with him when he selected it.   I loved Taylor and Gaga too, but it was the wrong ring for a classy traditional woman.  

From what I remember Gaga and Taylor designed the ring together. He proposed to her with a ring pop.

Both rings are not my taste, but they are both very Gaga to me. She loves the colour pink a lot and her taste can be very girly/tacky/much sometimes. I mean just look at her old bedroom decor, the walls were covered in oldschool wallpaper with pink roses. 

Personally I would give her a more practical ring that she'd be able to wear performing and not worry about it getting caught on clothing etc.

A friend of mines fiancé cheated on her so she sold the ring  I guess it depends on how the break up went.

Tbh I could see her wanting to give back Taylor's but their fairly amicable parting was like you keep it and then she did. however, like someone said, i believe i remember reading she gave his back.

I do think the ring should be given back if the engagement ends. I also think the ring wearer should get to participate in selecting the ring. It's only a piece of jewelry to be worn every day for the rest of your life, like maybe you should get a bit of a choice. Like the guy could pick out 6 different rings and then let the woman pick from those or something. I would avoid a colored ring.  If the ring is a basic single diamond and a gold band, that's very traditional and always ok, but anything more elaborate than that should be more of a mutual decision. For example, wouldn't the T❤S on the band cut into her fingers when she bends them. 

This is totally not how people do it tho, I guess. Men wearing the pants and all.
