despite this supposed to be his big comeback song, and trying so hard with as catchy as it get tunes and "Wow!! Let's put on some eye make up to be edgy!!" imagery but doesn't seem to appease the GP as much anymore? Why is that? :oprah:

Gimme More

"Bad Habits" went to Number 1 in the UK, his promotion campaign was crazy here.

Tbh I just know about that song because of GGD. I have not seen a single promo picture anywhere else, nor heard the song on the radio here on my city. I just think it lacks interest

To put it as one of my friends outside stan culture:

”Oh Ed Sheeran put out a new song? Had No idea -laughs-, anyway where do i turn again?”

I think maybe more promo was needed? Or Radios are pushing newer artists to the forefront.

It’s because he released a somewhat edgy song / with darker subject matter in a time when people really are not asking for it lol

like Everyone just wants to dance, enjoy seeing Covid restrictions go away, and Ed Sheeran is over here being a vampire lol

Ed and ha flop era. We love to see it. :vegas:

That should slap him a good dose  of humility.

the song is catchy, maybe it'll peak higher as time progresses and some of the other songs lose traction

OMG I don't like him but I thought this could easily snatch that  #1.

The song (except chorus) is so generic and forgettable, but I thought GP would eat whatever Ed released. :enigma:

BTS' fans are mass buying "Butter", they have every week over 100K in sales.
but next week they are releasing "Permission To Dance" so "Butter" will leave #1 (or even will be out of chart if BTS' fans parents won't give them money for both songs :stalkga:)

I think Bad Habits still can get #1 if it get more airplays

it'll go number one. there's no way it's dropping out of the top 10 and i've heard it all over tiktok and around my school, it'll just take a week or two to climb.

LOVE JUNKIE

I think the track is meant to be more of a grower than a shower. I hope it flops but I wouldn't count it out just yet. "Blinding Lights" debuted at #11 then became the biggest song of 2020. "Bad Guy" debuted at #7 and then became one of the biggest songs of 2019. Those are the types of songs "Bad Habits" seems to be trying to emulate based on the aesthetics of the song and the visuals.
